In 2002, Bryan and Jennifer Parris moved to Greenville with the vision to begin a new ministry for those who have little or no connection to a local church.   With the help of several local churches and much prayer and support, they began operating as a mission church in late 2003.  On September 11, 2005, CenterPointe constituted as a self-supported church.  CenterPointe has met in homes, at libraries, in coffee shops, and on Sundays at the Eastside YMCA.  They moved to their first stationary facility in February of 2007.
